Impossible Is Nothing

Friday, May 9th, 2008

Hi

I want you to read the following statements by these three skeptics -

  • "Professor Goddard does not know the relation between action and reaction and the need to have something better than a vacuum against which to react. He seems to lack the basic knowledge ladled out daily in high schools."- 1921 New York Times editorial about Robert Goddard’s revolutionary rocket work.
  • "Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible."– Lord Kelvin, president, Royal Society, 1895
  • "Louis Pasteur’s theory of germs is ridiculous fiction" - Pierre Pachet, Professor of Physiology at Toulouse, 1872

And then I want you to read the profiles of the Wright brothers, Robert Goddard and Louis Pasteur .

What do all these men have in common? They proved the first three statements above and their detractors - wrong!

They dared to dream big and most importantly didn’t allow fear of failure or other people’s skepticism to cripple their resolve to be successful.

What about you? Do you have big dreams or even small ones?

Do you fantasize about going to college and getting a degree ? Or maybe you doodle your vision of a concept car that you hope one day would become a household name - only to shoot yourself down with doubt?

Well, if you do, I want you to read this article which tells you about some of the greatest scientist and thinkers of the last century. You’ll see that many of them went through failure, poverty and ill-health before reaching their goals.

Read the article more than once if you have to and let it fire you up. Give yourself permission to think "outside the box" and then take action on the things you really want.

How do you take action? Follow the proven path others have taken to success. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Educate yourself by reading their books, their blogs - join an association of like minded individuals and get ready to fail faster.

You heard me right - FAIL FASTER. If you take action and fail, you’ll find out what doesn’t work so that next time, you won’t make the same mistakes. The faster this process happens, the quicker success will come.

Impossible is nothing.

Make it a great day

N.B - Always consult your personal physician before consuming any new supplements and never change any medications without his/her expressed permission.

In my early teens, my mum turned me on to the idea of taking supplements. Back then, I was one to exercise regularly, play soccer almost daily and cram for my exams at the eleventh hour.

Mummy always bought vitamins and fish oil for me, to ensure that my immune system was ready to take on the added stress I was placing on myself.

The fish oil had a dreadful taste, even in tablet form but she insisted that I take it. I always felt more energetic and got less colds when I did, so to this day - I take them daily.

But, according to some recent readings I have been doing,  fish oil has loads of other well-established health benefits.

Research has shown that amongst other things, fish oil has a beneficial effect on memory and IQ and improves personality, mood and fights mental disorders. Not to mention it vastly improves sleep, fights stress and promotes a healthy heart.

Do you think this is something a college student, whether he is studying online or at a brick and mortar school, could greatly benefit from?

According to the FDA, around almost 50% of Americans regularly consume vitamins, herbs, or minerals. The most common supplements taken include vitamin C, B12, B6, niacin, thiamin, B2, E, A, D and folic acid. Guess what? - fish oil isn’t among them.

Not only that, the vast amount of fish oil on the market is of lower grade and not the pure pharmaceutical grade that doesn’t have bad stuff in it like mercury and organic toxins. The pure grade is more easily assimilated into the body and has longer lasting, more visble effects on the human body.

One of America’s leading anti aging doctors, Dr. Dave Woynarowski has done extensive study and analysis on the benefits of fish oil and has gone as far as saying that if he had to choose only one supplement to take…it would be fish oil.

Why not run on over to his site and get the real skinny on Fish oil. You should also sign up for his free newsletter. I bet it would be very beneficial to your college life and overall health.

To a healthy mind and body
